Morbol Menace a bit unfair for Bards

Chiming in to say that just using sleep after the bind as a BLM/WHM is way easier than trying to outheal the bad breath.

Can you silence the bad breath?

Im, pretty sure you can, i do map with a BRD friend and everytime we got this one and he got bound, bad breath never been fulyl casted and i have nothing to do with it ( i do maps as WHM and i dont Holy this particular map ). So my guess is, that he silences them. I'll have to ask.

It's not even hard.
Just don't run in circles like a dumbass, stay still.
When it binds you, wait until you see bad breath casting. Just silence it. You should only see it Once. If you are really low Ilv you might see it twice. If that happens, just silence it again.

It's not even hard. I don't see why you think it's unfair.

All maps are easy and soloable. They just have a trick to them.

Can you silence the bad breath?

Normally you can't, but from this one particular morbol, you can. If you watch the log, you'll notice Bad Breath is being readied as a spell instead of a special attack, like it is from all other morbols.

Annnnd, confirmed, just stand in front of it and take the hits, then stun it when bound and faced forward.

Only map that gives me trouble is the cyclops with tons of adds, normally do my maps as smn. Only method i've found that works reliably for it is drop a shadowflare on them and heal through the dmg while titan keeps cyclops busy.

Died once to bombs, but after first time, i just order titan to tag each one and he eats their explosions quite easily. Other than that most are too easy to even bother mentioning.

Just a tip. Pop raging strikes before shadow flare, hit them with miasama II and blizzard II them to death.

Sleep actually works against the Morbol Menace, so feel free to cast Sleep/Repose or use a Potent Sleep Potion.

Toss your dots up, Bane, swiftcast shadow flare, Miasma II.

My SCH can kill them before they move, assuming they all get hit by Bane.
