This wouldn't be too bad, actually. Though, I hate glowy armour.
Desynthing for dyeable versions of these, though. That's something I could get behind!
What I wouldn't give for a dyeable version of the Armour of Light...

One way they could do it, to help people catch up to the newer raid, is make a story mode option, where you continue the quest, see the cutscenes and then move to next quest to unlock ST.
Could even add a "heroes have already cleared it out, ready for us to move in to ST"
Least new players would have a way to catch up without being locked out of content and those that want to spend ages clearing it can still do so

Snide doesn't mean what you apparently think it means. Try again.
Has nothing to do with being lucky either. People still do it. I've done it numerous times, tank queue, heal queue, DPS queue. Yes, DPS gets it longer, on average its been 25-45 minutes. TBH though I was queueing not for gearing my classes, but I wanted some easy to get gear for my retainer. I couldn't roll need on it as my SCH (which got a faster queue) so when it did drop I would be able to get it. This has all been within the past.... 5 days? or so. I think it took me 3/4 SMN runs to get the items I wanted.
I wouldn't call his post an exaggeration tho, it depends on both data center and time of the day, I wouldn't recommend late night / early morning queues (EST), just today I had a 60 mins queue for Titan HM as melee DPS, just because I chose a terrible time to queue (5-6 am EST), if that was for a more or less popular content, I can't imagine how long it would be for a dead content like CT.

Different data centers for one, I play late at night in eu which isn't even close to peak timeSnide doesn't mean what you apparently think it means. Try again.

Again to clarify, just because you have short queues do not presume everyone does, be it different data centers, different times. Not everyone gets to play at peak times
feel so bad for new players, joining a game where about half it's content is completely and utterly dead by the time they reach 50. How often are we telling new players " nobody does that anymore"?
I would love so much if se scrapped all gear below i90, and gave fresh 50s the myth set, instead of the AF1 set. Revised the stats of monsters in all dungeons AND ofc revised the loot and reward.
This is naturally just a bandaid ofc, because with vertical progression, it would just go full circle and happen again....
It would be great to see them make an 8 man version when newer content comes out just so that people can still get gear for glamour purposes. Most of the mechanics could be scaled to work with 8.

I called his post an exaggeration not because of queue length but because of how "little it is done". It gets done plenty of times, now, if the majority of its at peak times? Can't help you. Because people queuing for it directly affects queue times, those numbers were used, my point, which you can re-read if you don't believe (post hasn't been edited) is that the exaggeration was for how little its QUEUED for. It has a standard dungeon queue time, albeit during peak hours (presumably, that's all I can attest to at least).I wouldn't call his post an exaggeration tho, it depends on both data center and time of the day, I wouldn't recommend late night / early morning queues (EST), just today I had a 60 mins queue for Titan HM as melee DPS, just because I chose a terrible time to queue (5-6 am EST), if that was for a more or less popular content, I can't imagine how long it would be for a dead content like CT.
I did not presume everyone has short queue times. The only thing I've disputed is that its dead content and no-one will queue/does queue for it. That is simply false, and yes a queue time was given to measure it, because that's the only way to tell. Had I queued for it, let's say, 5 hours later? Yeah, I wouldn't get it. The same thing applied to when I queued for Coil-turn 1 at 8AM and it hit 75 minutes. I said... hmmmm.... nope. Doing something else.
I play at peak times, when the majority of people play. Again, this is all a testament to you saying people don't run it. People run it. And I'm sorry, but unless you work 7 days a week, there's at least 1 or 2 days you can play at peak time.

How about making the new CT2 more viable? I've not done it since a week after the patch. Outdated content is outdated.

It's still really good for Myth. But often the parties I join up with are really bad and drag the run down.
