I love my name. A lot. But I heard of people wanting to change their name so they create a character in another server with their current name, then they request for a transfer, and since that name is already used, they're forced to change it. Then to transfer back to their original world.

I'm aware of this method, but the issues with it are spending money to do two transfers, the first of which either makes you miss out on doing events with friends or making your character boring for the days before it allows you to change again. It depends what the cost would be if they had an actual name change option as well.
