    It'd be great if it restored mana too. According to this site it does but testing it a few months back we noticed there were no MP return.

    So why not have it like this even if it's just for Bard?

    Healing Wind
    Healing Wind is the level 1 limit break for healers. It restores 25% of HP and MP of all nearby party members.
    Breath of the Earth
    Breath of the Earth is the level 2 limit break for healers. It restores 60% of HP and MP of all nearby party members.
    Pulse of Life
    Pulse of Life is the level 3 limit break for healers. It restores 100% of HP and MP of all nearby party members and revive any party members that are KO'd.

    Maybe include TP in there.

    Saving an ST party with the healer LB falls under the category of using it to carry incompetent or inexperienced players through otherwise easy content. It's unfortunate that DPS LBs are the only consistently useful ones, but that's the way it is for now, and I feel bad for BRDs being stuck with the healer version.

    The healer's LB for the BRD is "just in case" and pretty useless, but until everyone get his own, do you rather shield your allies, summons a meteor or use a sword with it?

    It was said that the animation for the different classes would be changed. There was no mention of a change in the type of ability being modified. So as far as we know, Bard will still retain the healer's limit break, just that instead of you the current animation, it will resemble something closer to the theme of the class that's using it.

    the reason bards have the healer LB is pretty clear: It's the only one of the four that fits both thematically and from an animation perspective.
    melee DPS has them using the swords, which is already silly considering neither uses swords at any other time. The tank one and caster DPS ones don't fit thematically, which leaves the healer one.
    In reality I would think the TRUE bard LB would be:
    Level 1: A single powerful arrow on par with the melee DPS level 1.
    Level 2: An arc slightly more powerful than the caster DPS level 2 but hitting a slightly smaller and more difficult to plot area.
    Level 3: A ton of arrows slamming into the ground, basically the same as caster DPS level 3.

    Obviously the strength needs to be lower. Otherwise, this is a pretty good alternative.

    BLM can keep the current Mage Lb.

    Summoners should summon any primal and do their ultimate move. It will hit the entire arena. Each teir will have different potency. Teir three being the most damaging. Won't have as much potency as blm lb.

    Monk should have punch/kick Lbs or just make a modified version of Tifa's Lb.

    Dragoon all jumps LBs. Teir three the dragoon should summon a wyvern and can command it five times to attack.

    BRD should have LBs that leave permanent debuffs up or permanent buffet up.while doing sone type of AOE damage. They will still have healer lb but they choose.

    It does restore MP only if the party member is raised with this lb (he's raised with 100% hp/mana)

    I've had runs with all bards where LB was in fact incredibly useful. Level 1 is quick and dirty and popping it while I'm Stance Dancing means I can dps longer, harder. I don't understand how you can think what's usually 5-10% of a bosses HP is worth more than the amount of damage your party can do over a period of time because they don't require healing.

    Not requiring healing only means your healers can now DPS, if they dare - and in most harder content, they won't, because the "don't require healing"-thing is something that can change all too quickly. Every DPS class is already DPSing, whether their HP is low or not. Death is the only exception to that, and only LB 3 remedies that - with an animation so slow that the user is pretty much guaranteed to die. BRD/Healer LB 1 and 2 seem pretty worthless. 3 is sometimes awesome.

    Clearly you run with healers who don't play to their full potential. I frequently DPS in all stripes of content.
