A fundamental flaw with FL (and PvP in general)

I've decided to start playing healer full time in FL, as both WHM and SCH depending on the situation and I have to say that I am already feeling the god mode. I can switch in and out of cleric stance on the fly to go from blowing someone up to healing myself and my team. I can have multiple people chasing, me unable to kill me. I am beating other players effortlessly and I have won nearly every game since I switched to playing healer.

To make things worse, I know that I'm playing poorly right now because I lack experience with WHM and SCH in PvP. I am making stupid mistakes that I can easily recognize and that with practice I will not be making, at least not nearly as frequently. It's sad that my day one WHM and SCH can go in and face-roll dominate. Can I die quickly and easily? Yeah, but only if I do something stupid to put myself in that position. Otherwise I have a myriad of tools to secure my safety and the safety of my team.

If you have any sense of positioning, spacing, and line of sight, you should never be dying.
