I found the atma portion pretty fun, though I don't mind grinds. Only issue I had with it was the easyness of the mobs due to it being low lvl fates.

I loved Atma (currently working on my 5th set) sometimes you get them quick and other times its awfully long. They are not the best weapons in game but they go well with their AF sets (looking at PLD and DRG mainly) for me its vanity and collecting and i just happen to love both of those so will happily devote my time to it![]()
I enjoyed Atma. It took me 8 hours a day of fate farming in row for about a week but it was worth it. The feeling of acomplishment was nice.
What you're talking about is not a "feeling of accomplishment". The only thing you accomplished was wasting your time doing FATEs that required no real effort or tactics on your part besides simply being there.
What you're talking about is a feeling of relief... of such a monotonous and boring activity finally being OVER.
Oh joys, yet another "others had it WORSE than you, stop whining!" post.
Please stop this. This contributes literally nothing. Just stop.
You sound lucky even if you don't believe it yourself. I've got one atma after the first fate, I even got my first atma by accident. There's been a couple where it's taken me days with a few hours each day. The RNG isn't a terrible issue but with random it's possible to get it first time or never. When you have ridiculous drop rates like 1% then you get closer to that never. You could be farming for days and never get it. This is the issue. There's some exceptionally unlucky people who don't have all twelve yet and have been farming since launch regularly.I think I am one of the few who actually liked the ATMA quest.
I met some new friends, visited areas I had completely missed before, and did some FATEs that I didn't even know existed.
It never felt "grindy" to me. Maybe that's just from playing other FFs idk.
In total it probably took me about two weeks with running a few fates a night. If I was finding my luck was sort of low, I'd quit them and come back later.
My one complaint would be farming Lower La Noscea...ugh so large.
Any others who enjoyed it?
Are you grinding forAtma? Have you got your novus yet?
If no stfu, get off the thread , if yes, good for you, stfu and get off the thread.
This thread is for sharing good stories, not whining, there are plenty atma sucks threads you could waste your time on. Or maybe you could work on getting your atma.
Some parts were very fun others made me never wanna look backbut yea^^ i meet some very cool ppl a long the way
I liked it, ok I admit, I did get a little frustrated at one point because they just wouldn't drop, but it felt all the more sweet when it did, I was literally jumping around my room going "heck yes an atma!" lol
Now that's over I look back it like, meh it wasn't so bad
