There can never be enough "ATMA SUCKS!!" threads. There is literally no number of such threads that would suffice to fully encapsulate just how bloody terrible the idea was from its inception and how quickly it needs to be excised, replaced, or at least nerfed so players can do something even marginally more entertaining for their relic. Are you grinding forAtma? Have you got your novus yet?
If no stfu, get off the thread , if yes, good for you, stfu and get off the thread.
This thread is for sharing good stories, not whining, there are plenty atma sucks threads you could waste your time on. Or maybe you could work on getting your atma.
And seriously, the fact that so many players are so incredibly vocal about this should tell you enough about how bad it is. ESPECIALLY this far out from the time it was released!

I have love for atma. I met new people that sometimes invite me for stuff and party with me for Odin, etc. I had fun and I would totally do it again.
They DID IT! <3

It is bad and you should all feel bad.
It will always be bad.

I enjoyed the ATMA quests. as a constellation/zodiac fan I liked them enought to get a second set for keeps

I think it's like childbirth. It takes too long, it's painful, every time you push you only get a bit of it, but finally after many hours, you are proud of the final outcome.
And then want another because your brain erased all the hardships you did as a defense mechanism.

I'm really going to atma hunt when I renew my sub. I probably spent 10 hours total with FATEs and I didn't get one yet (I haven't put a ton of effort into grinding out atmas since they released atma). My brother probably spent like 5 or 6 hours and has 3.
I daresay the RNG gods dislike me. Though I know others have felt a lot more pain than I with atmas.

I would never had a problem with the Updates from Zenith onwards if they would have provided other solutions than rare FATES. It was kinda fun to kill a few trash mobs, was fun to revisit some older dungeons and I also did not have a problem with grinding Myth because all of this happened at my pace. If I played more, I got faster to the next step, if I had no time to play, my progress came to a halt. That's how I want Game Design. Up to me and progress depending on how much I play and nothing else.
But the two FATE elements (having to do an unkown amount of FATES for ATMA, having to wait hours for rare FATES) have ruined the entire upgrade for me. I have all Relict weapons because I really enjoyed the quest line and the different Primals, this was something that made me do it again and again although I partially had already better weapons. But this is not going to happen with ATMA/Animus/Novus and whatever else will come. I will keep my main char up to date, the rest will live with Primal and UAT/Coil weapons. Not even considering a second one.
When I see how long it took me to get my Novus and compare it with getting a UAT from CT2, doing 3 hours of hunt and boom, having a 110 weapon -it just does not make sense to do it again. Somebody on the SE team has a strange vision of Balance in places....

I have no problem with the Atma. This way I can work on the FATE achievement.
I only hope the next zodiac quests involve some more leves, so I have a motivation to work on the leve achievement.
Cry some more please, I need a new glass of tears because i'm parched!

To OP: I find the Atma farming a refreshing challenging where the reward isn't guaranteed each and every time. This adds a level of challenge and difficulty which can be mind-numbing but feels that much more rewarding when you do get one.
