I don't think that criticizing the developers when they produce sloppy work (as they have these last few patches) equals hating a game.

No but saying something like this -

If FFXIV is the "new era of MMOs".... then I'm scared for the future of MMO's in general, esp if any new ones use FFXIV as a template... <shudder>

Certainly makes it seem like the person doesn't like the game.

That and that they attempt to denounce that the team is working hard. That's just disrespectful. Calling the hard mode dungeons rehashes is also a blatant lie too. The hard modes are barely like their normal mode counterparts aside from using the same environment assets because it's supposed to be the same dungeon.
