And that's the intent. They want to limit the people who can get through and gear from Second Coil, at least until 2.4 hits. You may not like it, you may disagree. And it doesn't really matter. As people have said in other threads, not all content is for everyone. It's designed for a certain group to have their shot at it first. Once the next tier comes out, the restrictions are removed and/or eased. But until then, it's not designed for everyone. A game that is designed to cater to everyone, does not mean make it so everyone can do everything, all the time. It means there are things for all the different types to do, and that some of those just might not be for you.
That's a whole lot of words to basically address nothing I or anyone else has said. I don't even know what you keep going on about with "everyone". All I'm seeing is the suggestion that somehow every player in the game is going to have <insert last boss here> kills at the same time or faster than Blue Gartr is because of a lack of lockouts. Do you actually read what you are posting? You are actually suggesting that everyone will suddenly become amazing overnight because lockouts were removed. Those same players that are still stuck on T5.

I'm also talking about other classes that I as a singular player have. Those classes I have at 50 that I could be raiding with simultaneously each week. You know, that I as an already raiding and clearing player have. That key difference you keep disregarding much like SE? The armoury system, having all the classes on one character. As again what you seem to keep missing, under 1 player. Not having to deal with alts and 8 different names for someone etc.

Then we meet endgame and we meet the failure to design a solution. Anyone can say screw their system and make alts. Anyone. Just about everyone played alts in those other games and many of those raided on them too. But no, in XIV we're going to act like alts don't exist. Someone might just realize how actually moronic character based lockouts are coupled with the armoury system.

I can't wait for DoL and DoH to be completely pigeon holed into 1 class because someone whined their loudest they can't be unique among 2 million other players. I'm sure you'll be celebrating that change too.
