For both:
pineapple 2
apple 2
pear 2
Will land you at 6 6 6 away from perfect soot black, if your values are consistent, it will be soot black for sure, most have gotten it with worse variance above 10.

Was hoping to get some possible help. Tried going for the White or Snow White color, fed per the spreadsheet and it came out Lotus Pink. Should I just be feeding the fruit to lessen the red and it'd be fine or is there something else to get to the white?
Any help appreciated, thanks!
5 plums will get you there, 6 if your RGB is too high on values, but the great thing is if you keep adding plums you will land there no matter what, white is super easy that way. 5 or 6 will land the same result, no need to worry with plums sinc eit would take around 15 to start going the other way with colors. So go ahead and feed 6 to be sure if you got them. Was hoping to get some possible help. Tried going for the White or Snow White color, fed per the spreadsheet and it came out Lotus Pink. went that route and keep getting bone white...5 plums will get you there, 6 if your RGB is too high on values, but the great thing is if you keep adding plums you will land there no matter what, white is super easy that way. 5 or 6 will land the same result, no need to worry with plums sinc eit would take around 15 to start going the other way with colors. My Conclusion is 3 Pine 1 Apple
This should arrange R>G>B which increase the chance to get soot black but i see you already feed him.Good Luck.
I guess I am close ... mine ended up Ink Blue. Since one of my 2 pineapples did not get a message, I guess that might be why it didn't hit Soot.
So... how to go from Ink Blue to Soot Black? I've seen a few people say a single pineapple got them a feather message and then they got Soot... it takes 2 pineapples for my bird to get a feather change message (I pulled him out to cancel it since I figured 2 pineapples may move him to far off on other colors.)
That said, Ink Blue is pretty good looking as well. At this point getting Soot Black is a matter of principle though.
