Below are the instructions i received

For Preliminary Round 2 you will need to find a sunny, quiet spot near one of the many rivers or Eorzea. You shouldn't be in the water, but on the banks. Weather must be sunny, so time of day must be around noon time. Gear and it's color are up to you. Are you taking a break from a day of adventuring? Are you fishing up dinner for tonight? Tell us a story.

I think the bold portion is what OP was talking about? (assuming all got the same instructions).

I know after some pics were submitted Rongi added in that it was a no snow shoot.
