Looks like I won't have to stress over the rest of the photos, haha.

Edit: Just read the above post and I agree. It'd also be nice to hear input from the models too if possible, like what they were aiming for with the shot to see how well they captured/presented it.

I'd love to share such info. For instance, in the first round I was trying to show that Kae had gotten lost in the desert, night had fallen and it was really cold. She manages to tame a fire sprite and use it for warmth. :3 The whole hands up thing was to show her warming her hands on it. I shoulda zoomed in more in hindsight I suppose.

Didn't get those extra bits either. :P Either way, I personally find two photos this round questionable (one is by an obviously stagnant and small pond, and one where I didn't see water at all - edit: Had to look hard, but I found the water in the corner of the pic XD........), but Rongi accepted them, so... @_@

perhaps u were talking about mine? I actually did have a more scenic pic but i replaced it last minute due to my scenic on round 1 not being very popular( + i had the line "tell a story" in my description) i figured singing on the bank of a river was more worthy of what people were expecting .

in anycase I have no issues with anyones photos and i think everyone did awesome!

Well i was eliminated but mine was in deer costume and he looked frightened like Elmer Fudd had him in the sight of his gun.

it would be nice to hear what the other models went though and what they were/are trying to convey with the pic. i know in my prelim 1 shot, i wanted to show kind of a dancing with fire thing. Was thrilled it agreed to tango with me

If the pictures didn't match the theme, i told the models to retake. The only model who i didn't have retake was Aelinau, because i wasn't sure if there was river behind her, and she just insisted on hiding it for an artistic reason. Lol

i actually enjoyed it , and perhaps on the ps3 the water wasnt as seen.. but at least i can say i tried my hardest

I was a problem child for this picture. My first thought was to go someplace I wouldn't normally think of when I thought sunny, so I took one in the snow. Let me tell you, getting sunny weather in the snow is awful. The rules were updated, so I had to take another. When I sent the retake in though, Rongi wasn't sure if it was a river. Then followed some of the greatest conversation among friends: "That's clearly a stream not a river," "I'm pretty sure this is a creak," "This is a spring, it's right in the name," "Does it count as sunny if the weather is clear but the area is applying a filter?" Good times.

For Preliminary Round 2 you will need to find a sunny, quiet spot near one of the many rivers or Eorzea. You shouldn't be in the water, but on the banks. Weather must be sunny, so time of day must be around noon time. No waterfalls. Gear and it's color are up to you. The background/scenery you choose should be epic/beautiful/serene!

That was my River scene instructions...didnt get anything about it being a green forest. And I was reassured by ENTM that my SS's were good.

Round 5 and 6 you will need to have the same hair color/style for both :3 thats what i took from it at least lol
