LGBT Linkshell and Free Company Directory - Updated August 2014

As I said, I didn't look extensively. It's a long list to go through. I looked at your "Rules" and the "FFXIV Rules" sections and didn't see anything specific. I did look at your 'About' section but I didn't scroll down the page and the LGBT bits were beyond the edge of my screen. I also want to re-state that it was because of this that I started debating, and ultimately decided to merge all of the 'sections' into a single list.

Since Frostheart's website is a dead link I'll don't think we need to 'double verify'. If they still exist they can let us know and I'll update it.

However that does bring me to another question. So far I have been keeping "inactive" groups listed - even though in some cases, I know they are gone completely. (MY FC has absorbed members from a defunct one as well).

I don't want to remove groups that my still be active - but if the LS or FC has no website or if it is dead or inactive, should we simply remove them from the list? I can try to check the Loadstone to see if they still have members in the game - I did that for a couple of the entires that didnt' have independant websites. It's a lot of work though. Maybe I should put the Loadstone links to the FC/LS in the list itself to make it easier to check later on.

Please make sure to include a Web link of some sort to be included in the main list.

If you don't have a website for your group, for Free Companies, you automatically get Forums on the Loadstone - simply create a public forum post in your FC that states who you are and what you are about. For linkshells, you can create a post in the Server specific area of these forums.

Without a "public" web presence, there is no way for me to verify and update your information. So make sure to add to those posts every couple months so that I can see activity and so that people looking for you know you are still around.

I'm going to try to standardize the entries in the following format:
Organization Name - Server
Status: (Based on reviewing website/links - including dates checked)
Linkshell: loadstone link
Free Company: loadstone link
Wesbsite: link
"Quote taken from website stating what the group is about."

So far I have been looking at the 'about', 'recruitment' or 'welcome' messages to find a quote that seems to represent the group. For a quote to appear on the main list my feeling is that it should be publically viewable on the groups website or loadstone site. Details posted in this thread are great but as I've posted before, I need to re-verify the info every so often.
