Why was Hexen bumped down a tier? We were not created expressly to be an LGBT only FC (tier 1), yet we have VERY strict anti-discrimination policies (including in our charter) , openly advertise as being an LGBT safe haven, are run by a LGBT free company master, with two other LGBT officers. Indeed, we are at least 20% LGBT. Please place us back in tier two.
We have had some amazing, long-term recruits from the previous thread; we love meeting and playing with you all!

The specific reason I moved Hexen was because I couldn't find anything publicly available on their website about LGBT. This is a long list and I didn't look extensively - so it may be there and I just didn't see it. The 'original' creator of this list only included groups that had websites and based their 'tier' on what the group has publically stated on their own sites.

I'm inclined to agree with Sagittarian that we should merge the 'tiers' but still keep some indication of whether the guild is "LGBT Owned", "LGBT Friendly" or "basic non-discrimination" - and personally I think the best 'proof' of that is the guilds own website. If they aren't willing to publically state that their level of "friendliness" then maybe they aren't so friendly.

Then again, for the most part anyone who made the list at all has to be Friendly since they at some point made an effort to recruit and include from the community..

All it takes is clicking the link on our main page that has "About Hexen" which states our charter...half of which is about our strict non-discrimination policy and starts the second paragraph off by saying we are LGBT run. It then goes on to link all of our chapter and guild rules (we are a multi-game, multi-platform guild), all of which that start with number one being our anti-discrimination policy. Methinks you didn't even visit our webpage at all? Perhaps you are confusing us with another FC? We are extremely up front with our leadership being LGBT and our affiliations in the community. It is all publicly available.

Also, I can verify Frostheart Frontier is no longer active on Leviathan, and has not been since September of last year. I was in their LS and my FC absorbed some of their members when they transferred servers shortly after launch. I am unsure if they are active on their new server. I can get one of their old officers to post here to double verify, if you'd like.

As I said, I didn't look extensively. It's a long list to go through. I looked at your "Rules" and the "FFXIV Rules" sections and didn't see anything specific. I did look at your 'About' section but I didn't scroll down the page and the LGBT bits were beyond the edge of my screen. I also want to re-state that it was because of this that I started debating, and ultimately decided to merge all of the 'sections' into a single list.

Since Frostheart's website is a dead link I'll don't think we need to 'double verify'. If they still exist they can let us know and I'll update it.

However that does bring me to another question. So far I have been keeping "inactive" groups listed - even though in some cases, I know they are gone completely. (MY FC has absorbed members from a defunct one as well).

I don't want to remove groups that my still be active - but if the LS or FC has no website or if it is dead or inactive, should we simply remove them from the list? I can try to check the Loadstone to see if they still have members in the game - I did that for a couple of the entires that didnt' have independant websites. It's a lot of work though. Maybe I should put the Loadstone links to the FC/LS in the list itself to make it easier to check later on.

All of the listings that have 'confirmed' or seem to be active based on their websites have been updated.

I've completed cleaning/reformatting up to Gilgamesh and removed FC's that no longer have any entries in Lodestone or which appears to have stagnated (few members listed with no GC rank, or FC is only rank5 with no activity etc)
