10th Stage Finished.

Started as Royal Blue, fed 51 Berries in an attempt to hit another color. That was not successful, so I switched to Pears. It took 6 Pears to get a new feathers message. The result was Storm Blue.

Onward with Pears for now. Going to start #11.

Edit: Ramblings, cause I need to get it out. Doesn't make sense that I even started hitting blues this early, really shouldn't have hit these blues at all. Thought I would have gotten darker purples and start getting into maybe browns or greys once I started pears. If I start going down the Othard > Peacock > Turquise line to greens, somethings going to be majorly strange.

Thank you! That proves that Royal Blue is the last colour in line when using O'Ghomorro Berries.

I've very interested to see what you get, and to see if we cross paths, assuming you'll do pure pears (or if I hit apple green, which I know is the pear cap).

Here is my updated progress, which I'll start from Blood Red pure apple line once more:
(Again, all stopped on first new feather message)

Blood Red --> Used 3 Berries = Dalamud Red
Dalamud Red --> Used 2 Plums = Blood Red
Blood Red --> Used 13 Pears = Plum Purple
Plum Purple --> Used 1 Pear = Blood Red
Blood Red --> Used 1 Pear = Plum Purple
Plum Purple --> Used 4 Pears = Opo Opo Brown

I didnt think I would be stuck on that loop for long...if I was, it would be interesting. (On a side note, I would say to anyone stuck in a loop just to keep trying the same fruits. You should break out of it eventually, but my opinion is if you keep mixing fruits when you're in a loop...you'll be stuckforeva).

I'm predicting I should probably reach apple green, which then my next step would be to see if I can reverse myself down to Desert Yellow, then maybe go back up the apple to see if there is any consistency. Results in 2016.

When I saw Plum Purple, I was very tempted to see if Berries would bring me up the Berry line (almost like a shortcut to Royal Blue) or if Pineapple brought be back downward (Lavender Blue/Purple)...but I'm staying steady with Pears right now.

I think you are right about the looping. I was going between regal purple <> royal blue and I knew when I had to feed more than one apple to my regal purple that I'd finally broken out. (got dalamud red)

I Honestly don't know anymore. This is getting very strange. I never "should" have hit these blues, should have got darker purples, then went over to browns, greys or one of the almost black colors.

11th Stage Finished.

Started Storm Blue, took 7 Pears to get one new feathers message, end result Othard Blue.

It's like I never fed those 75 Apples. Someone in the "other thread" said days ago something about the deepening fruits darkening their respective colors and lightening the other two. I thought they were nuts at the time, now... I'm not so sure anymore.

12th Stage Started. Took 11 Pears to get the message. If this turns to Peacock Blue, I'm going to have to completely change how I'm going about this. I'm going to have to start doing one stage of a deepening fruit, move on to the next one for the next stage, same with the 3rd. Then just keep cycling through them until I start hitting near-black colors.

Opo Opo Brown --> Used 4 Pears = Moss Green
Moss Green --> Used 7 Pears = Cactuar Green
Cactuar Green --> Used 20 Pears: No new feather message (possible hard green cap? I thought that was apple green?)
Used 10 Berries: New Feather message, stopped.

Decided just to go up berry line now with Cactuar Green, see where I end up. Maybe I end up with Royal Blue?
