ok, I'm confuzzled. I've been stuck on salmon pink for two cycles of feedings now… I'm trying to get to snow white, but nothing seems to be changing it from Salmon Pink at this point.

2o O'Ghomoro Berry 20 Mamook Pear 20 Xelphatol Apple = Mesa Red
You want to feed him everything all at once for this first feed cycle. After feeding all the fruit above, wait for the plumage change to occur in six hours.Yes I currently have one of each seen in the garden all with Grade 3 Shroud soil. They will soon be harvest-able and that's when I want to go. For initial feeding do you mean all those 3 at once? or like feed berry's first, wait a bit then mamook, or do you do 1 by one? Sorry haven't even touched the feeding of fear of screwing it up
While feeding him the fruit, you should see at least one "feathers have changed" message (though more is definitely likely).
Anyone have advice for Royal Blue to Ink Blue?
Wow, you were spot on! Ochu green he is haha. What should be my next move? Also, thank you for the help!
Desired Color: Grape Purple
52R, 36G, 54B
Your last feed (Qiqirn Brown) you managed to drop your Green/Blue but increase your Red. Your next feed should be again something like:
x10 Berries
x10 Pears
This is going to drop your Red while keeping Green and Blue consistent. This should probably put you at a dark green colour (possibly something like Ochu). Once you get to that point, repost the colour you receive and we can take another look. From there it should be a matter of dropping Green while maintaining Red/Blue.

w00t! You're welcome.
Current Colour: Ochu Green
57R 92G 51B
Destination Colour: Grape Purple
52R 36G 54B
Alrighty, from here try the following:
x6 Apples
x6 Berries
This combo should result in a RGB of around 57R, 32G, 51B and should push you into Grape Purple range. For Science!
OK so Im at Abyssal Blue -- 43 39 80
Correct me if I'm wrong Im going to use
Pineapples x 11 , Plums x 3 , and Valfruit x 2
What do you think Syrhen?
Hey everyone, I need some help with trying to go for Marsh Green.
I hit Lime Green with my first color change, but then I got antsy and added too many Mamook Pears, some Xelphatol Apples, and maybe a Valfruit or two, and it ended up Honey Yellow >_>;
Decided it would probably be better to only feed enough to get one new feathers message sort of creep little by little to try and control the color changes more and go from there.
I added some Domam Plums to lighten red since I think all of the hex numbers have to be lower to hit Marsh Green, and I ended up with Cream Yellow.
Added a few more Domam Plums and now I'm at Lime Green again.
Now I don't know what to do because going from Cream Yellow to Lime Green only took about 4~6 Domam Plums.
I don't want to overshoot and end up with a blue.
Any advice?
From Desert Yellow used Xelphatol fruit x2 (one feather message) to Millioncorn Yellow.
From Millioncorn Yellow used O'Ghomoro berry x12 (11 feather messages) to Lilac Purple.
What can I expect if I add a few Mamook Pears?
Color Mapping Project has some possible pathways to getting the colors you want. I'm working to gather data and fill in all the missing parts.
I'm going with occam's razor regarding the chocobo coloring. It's far simpler to assume it uses the usual tactics of HQ procs/ Good and Excellent/Failure methods. The flaw of the system right now is that you see "growing new feathers" after each feeding following the 1st message received (unless you switch snacks, and then begins again)- so that means you have absolutely no idea which ones "proc" or "fail". I don't think SE has gone to the trouble of tracking past feedings/rgb changes to each and every chocobo in existence. With all things, though, I could be wrong.
