Ok, so I gave my Sylph Green Choco one plum message hoping to get Ice blue or white but I got Celeste Green instead ...
This chart says one apple will take it to ice blue but the other chart posted says it will take it back to that green ...

Anyone got any exp with turning Celeste Green into whit or ice blue?

Thats the spectrum I've been playing around myself in, remember you can "jump" / "skip" colors, which is stated in the text as well, it's a known fact.
From Celeste green though if you feed it pineapple it should become Ice Blue.

My chocobo was celest green too (wanted lotus pink -.-). With 1xPineapple feather msg it was snow white again and from snow white with 1xValfruit feather msg it was ice blue.

i keep deepen the colours but now i got lavender purple :X i have read what someone pointed but i had already fed my choco when i wronte my post here....

now how do i go from lavender purple to soot black?? > . <

If I get the same result with Celeste Green I now know what to try! (Good thing no one in my FC uses Pineapples ... got like 60+ where as I'm gonna have to hope no one touched the Valfruit by the time I wake up :v )

It worked! Went from Celeste Green to, from the transformation screen, looked ... like Celeste Green but with a tiny tiny TINY bit more blue to it. Pulled out of the screen and it looked like Celeste Green. Examined it and ... it said Snow White and it looked snow white in the window.Pulled out again and it looked Snow White ..

Guess I'm gonna stick with Snow White. Getting real tired of not taking my Choco out for combat.

So i ended up following someone else way of getting soot black by changing it color back. So i did 10 apples,10 pears 20 berries they got blood red. I ended up getting Slate Grey no where near there color lmao.


So my question now is what should i do to get from Slate Grey too Soot Black?

Turquoise Green -> fed 1 apple with message
Cactuar Green -> fed berries until message to get back to turquoise then fed pears with no message so I feed him more berries until I got another message.

I keep going back to Cactuar green when feeding deepening fruits while in Turquoise.

Well I went back to torquoise which leads me to believe only the first feather message counts.

Turquoise Green -> Fed berries until feathers message.

Let's see where we go from here. Seems to loop Cactuar and Torquoise a lot.

So, it's not use to count proc messages if you don't stop feeding and wait each time you get one. A valid data gathering would be :
- fed 5 apples until proc
- waited 6 hours got color X
- fed X apples until proc
- waited 6 hours and got color Y

But noone would be that patient ^^

That's currently what I'm doing because I don't want to waste/under or over use fruits. So far I fed plums until I got the trigger proc. It was 2 at that time. After 6 hrs he was a very light shade of pale green.

I then fed him apples until proc mssg. That was 5 and when I checked after 6 hours it went back to original color. I even got a mssg saying something or other..."chocobo changes back to his original plumage, or color." I can't remember the exact text.

Then I fed apples again from original color until proc mssg. I think it was 3 or 4. After 6 hours, he was millicorn yellow.

Currently have him on another cycle with more plums. Essentially I went plums/apples and now going apples/plums. I'll see what he looks like in another few hours. I'm not shooting for any specific color, I just don't want a yellow or green one so I'll keep doing this proc by proc. next I'm going to add the berries if I don't like his color change after this wait time.

Ok so from regal purple ( 103 55 87) I did

5 pears
1 berry
5x all lighteners
1 Berry

In that order, all proc'd new feather. Using the +/- 5 That should put me right at 43 45 38 (soot range)


From Raisin Brown ( 71 55 23 ) I did

2 Pear
2 Berry
2 Berry
2 Berry
1 Pineapple

Which would put me right at 36 40 38.


Will report back in 4 hours. Im running this on 2 characters and aiming for dark blue or soot black

This is the RGB scale im going off of. If this takes me to the colors near or as expected only time will tell
