Have an FC mate who has been trying to get Upper La Noscea Atma (normally an easy one) for over 2 weeks. Some of us have shown up and helped get the fates faster. There was an instance we had where one person was in South Than for 3 weeks. During this one of our LS members showed up to help this person. The helper got the atma /THREE TIMES/ in the afternoon they helped, and the luckless person was still in for a long haul. Its just ridiculous.

And that's a perfect example of the crap I am talking about. In the time I have been farming for my first set, one of my FC members has gotten 3 sets and already is working on novus on two of those now...meanwhile, I am sitting here still f***ed regardless of how much time i put into the game.

Looking at your achievements, you achieved 300 FATEs back in November and have yet to achieve the 1,000 FATE achievement in the 9 months between then and now. That makes me highly doubt you "doing 300+ FATEs in North Shroud". I see people constantly complaining that they do "hundreds/thousands of FATEs and see no atma" and realistically they might have done 30-50 at absolute max.

While RNG can suck, there is a ridiculous amount of exaggeration in the community. Most people saying "I am spending hundreds of hours doing this" probably spent a fraction of the time those who achieved 12 atma did.

There is ALWAYS exaggeration.

Usually when someone say 'always' or 'never' they are already wrong. Saying "there is usually exaggeration" would be more accurate.

And no I am not exaggerating. Atma farming shouldn't have been success for only the first two months after they came out. It needs to be balnaced so that even people stuck doing fates alone in a zone because maybe the only time they can log in is off peak and no one else is doing fates so they ahve to solo boss fates in a zone and maybe get 4-6 fates in per hour can ideally get an atma wihthout spending a month there.
