Well, clear demimats have no use atm, who wants to bet they will be used for the Grindus relic upgrade?

They are currency, actually, like "Allagan X pieces". Instead of giving you gil upon desynth, it gives you that.

My guess is the latter, or perhaps even preparation for the 2.4 arc for it. I don't see them making it equal to or better than HA currently, because they've said it wouldn't be.

I'd honestly be surprised if they did this, ie they likely won't. Especially since they've already stated their stance that Coil/Endgame content weapons will be the best. Not Relics.

It wouldn't be an upgrade if the ilevel stayed the same and it's only 5 off from HA already. Nobody would care if the ilevel was the same.

Uh, you do know WHY they upped Allagan from 90 to 95, right? Because people DO care. They also never said upgrade in 2.38, they said the next part of the storyline is in 2.38. Which could mean many things can happen without an ilvl bump.

But second coil is about to end as being the newest endgame raid. So it looks like they're gonna be letting people replace HA a bit early.

If 2.38 is another set of hoops to jump through and there was no ilevel increase for it, few would do it.
