The idea is to feed it a trio of all LIGHTEN'ers. Since each LIGHTEN'er gives a plus to two colors while a minus to the third, by feeding all three LIGHTEN'ers, you would effectively be giving two boosts (++) to all three colors (3 pluses and 1 minus). That would raise the values of all three evenly. The very low values of Ink Blue (22R 26G 34B) would raise slightly into the Soot Black range (37R 35G 30B).

As I reread this post, I do realize what you mean. You wouldnt want to raise the BLUE value too much, however, I assume if the values to trigger a specific color fall into a "range" (Such as 35-40R and so on) you'd be in the Soot Black value range.

Still Ink Blue after this last session. My bird is determined to stay this color. This go around I did the following:

    Valfruit - no message
    Plum - no message
    Valfuit - Feather message
    Plum - Feather message

So hopefully now my RGB is... R > G > B at very low values, which SHOULD be Soot Black. Will report back in 6 more hours.

So from Ink Blue, I went to Midnight Blue with a Valfruit and Plum.
    Ink Blue - 22 26 34
    Midnight Blue - 20 21 49

Both those fruits should've done +red, +grn, -blu.... however, it didn't do that at all if it changed to Midnight Blue. Quite the opposite, rather. So maybe it isn't strictly based of RGB number manipulation. Maybe what's happening is that you go down a 'color path' and the deeper you are in one, the harder it is to jump to a new color path altogether? So maybe I'm so deep in to blue that the only way I can hop over to a new color is to first start making my way to a brighter blue and then get myself in to new color range (grays) as I revert closer back to starting point, and from there darken down to black? Not sure. I've seen a few people mention that they have hit grays but I figure by now they would have hit black if this theory is correct...

    Current feeding:
    Apple - no msg
    Pear - feather message
    Apple - feather message
