Not really, make an FC and buy an FC house. Simple.

And forgo being part of a FC. Or go into the journey of being the GM of a FC, which is not something everybody wants to do.
Unless you pay a higher valued subscription to have a second char in the same world. SO NICE #not.

I guess you're forgetting we don't have personal housing yet.

Not to mention to have a small house, even if you do have a separate char with a one-man FC which owns a house, you need a huge starting capital. Which most people don't have. Housing is still too expensive for the individual.
