Miasma II & Tri-Disaster: yay or nay?

It's not even necessary to do testing. The math is pretty simple. Miasma II is 70 potency therefore it is always better to use Miasma II over Ruin whenever there is 2+ enemies (total 140 potency vs 80). If it's a single target boss fight then there's no real need to use it except when both Raging Strikes and Contagion is up (unless you want l33t DPS, then you can use it whenever Contagion is up).

I am quite aware that miasma 2 + contagion provides 40 potency more than a ruin. I have used it whenever contagion is up previously indeed. If you do not factor in MP usage at all then yes miasma 2 is always worth it. But you need to factor in MP usage for longer fights. Is it worth the MP use in a 8-10 minute fight? And whether miasma 2 is worth it or not against 2+ enemies depends on how long those enemies last. if they're dead in 5 seconds then it may not be worth it.
