Think about it. 2 PLD's and 1-2 MNK's would make 4 chances to pop that ability across 2-4 possible scholar's set up. This means that in this scenario, everyone will focus down scholar's in an order meaning (PLD #1 gets SCH #1 - PLD #2 gets SCH #2 - MNK #1 gets SCH #3, and so on <--- for knocking off aetherflow's only, then focusing down one at a time). The scholar can then simply pop another aetherflow as the first will be a decoy or held at 1 stack, and go back to normal until the opposing forces ability is ready again.

Fun theory. Too bad it only works on paper.

    More likely scenario:

    - PLD and MNK on SCH (as well as the usual Bard, for some reason there is ALWAYS a Bard bothering healers)
    - Aetherflow stacks disappear
    - Equanimity is used by the SCH to keep himself alive
    - Equanimity ends
    - Aura Blast
    - Attunement
    - People start dying because the healer is more busy keeping himself alive, since he can't use Lustrate anymore to spot-heal other people in need

And in the meantime, WHMs are happily spamming Holy, stunning and melting people AOE while pushbacking and rooting harassers.

SCH are already VERY frustrating to play. Without your PvP cooldowns up, you are dead meat the moment the fight starts if the enemies are not muppets.

Sure, they were though - THANK THE GODS. If they weren't tough they would be completely useless.

Anything's possible. Watch, you're going to see various strategies pop up to confront this. Go do some frontlines and see what changes people do in reaction to their new abilities. Even the slightest changes to an playing field can have the most drastic effects. Still sticking to it until I see it proves unreliable.

Not to be rude, but in all seriousness: you don't sound like you're having fun PvPing on SCH, so why do it? Maybe try other classes?

Oh don't worry - the fact that I play SCH does not mean I do not play other classes as well.

But hey, when you have too few healers in a party someone HAS to switch.
