JP servers up, NA/EU servers not (hardware issues)

It's not exactly the end of the world (or an Era haha), so we wait a little longer for it to be over, big whoop lol.
Besides wasnt maintence due to end at 11am UK time anyway, so it didnt end early like the JP data centres no big deal since its still due to end within the original maintence window.

Why do we have hardware issues?

That is something I don't get...

We all pay for equal service, though our servers are down till 4:am and they are done at 2.30 am and get to play on top of that.

I mean its a minor issue but making everyone happy should be number one thing.

I assume at your work nothing ever goes wrong? :P The universe is a complex thing, there are hiccups all the time. Patience and understanding are virtues we should use when one of those hiccups effects us, because we would want others to display them when we're the ones causing hiccups.

Its like "hey yoshi old betsy took a shit on us again, go get the artic silver 5 we need to re-paste the icore 3 but sir why don't we use one of the nice i7 core pc's not right now they will have to "look forward to it"

The servers won't use Core ix, they will use Xeon processors which have more cores, the Xeon E5 has a nice 12 cores, they also run cooler taking up less power than an i7 so you get money savings, you can also use more than one Xeon per motherboard.

I checked out the EU site, and it listed 10 AM GMT as the time to start, the 11 AM GMT as the extention (when I first made this post) It has been extended yet another 2 hours for all servers, so it'd be 1 PM GMT However I did notice that the latest update isn't on the EU version of the loadstone yet. Maybe that's why it's still showing as 11 AM, should update soon I'm sure.

Edit: and now that update is posted there as well. Just in the timing I guess, heh.

Although they wrote 10am they never take daylight savings time into account on those notices. At this time of year everything begins and ends an hour later than they say in the UK.

I logged in and my graphics looked weird (menu and chat box especially), dark and hard to see. Dunno if it's related or not. Got through unlocking the Ixali quests when the "GTFO" message popped up. xD
