    What she said. With myth probably being removed in 2.4, hunts are the way to obtain ilvl 90 gear. That part of the hunt is probably working as intended and I agree. I do think they made ilvl110 too easy to obtain, they should have waited with that for 2.4. However while I do believe this to be the case with hunts, they should add sands of time as a possible drop in Syrcus Tower. In fact they should add oil as possible drop at all bosses while the sand can only drop at the final boss. That way we could have still gotten ilvl 110 without doing coil but at least it would be capped at 1 item a week making it still worthwhile to TRY coil.

    It's all about vertical progression. The gear treadmill never stops. The advantage of the catch up mechanism is that you can step off the treadmill occasionally.

    whatever they do, they need to find a way to make the zergfest disappear. if they can't do this, any change to the mark will solve nothing!

    exept wow don't get a patch every 3-6 month... the best example, between the last patch of mop and the next expansion, 13 month will have passed, where the game did receive no ilevel change.

    The problem with WoW was after BC, it went downhill, sure it was a great cash grab but it failed in so many aspects i mean shit it once boasted 12 million subscribers and now its down to about 6, obviously they are doing something wrong

    Doing something with the daily and weekly rewards has to be a given right? They're completely out of whack with the rest of the hunt reward structure. For the rest of the hunt rewards, I think that they've missed their chance for serious adjustments until 2.4. Messing with it now is just hurting people coming to it late, as anyone serious about gearing through hunts has already exploited the hell out of it.

    I can see the argument for reducing sol tomes from hunts, but if that's the case then there needs to be expansions of them elsewhere. Fixing frontline queues would go a long way, or even bumping up second coil to 50 sol per turn like it was for myth in 2.0/2.1 could also help.

    WOTLK started the downfall, but i'll agree somewhat with you. I think the huge problem is Yoshi only sees $$$$$$, because he admires WoW and seen 12 million subscribers and pretty much wanted to replicate that with this game and its failing fast
