Just doesn't have the red color, though I don't see the difference other than that.
Thing is, that is the actual Elbst enemy, not the Elbst Mount, which is notably less aquatic-looking. When I saw that Elbst enemy roaming around I was excited to have a nice, fishy-looking mount...but the mount version is far too drake-like. The Moonfaire Elbst is exactly the kind of Elbst I would have liked, but eh.

Now that they have an animation for the Elbst at least (used for the event), I hope they add it to our existing mounts.

Yeah, that's definitely a better looking elbst mount than what we have now. It puzzles me why thet tend to choose the models with the least amount of colour. It's the same with the drake mount. Out of all the different colours they gave us the boring brown one. If I remember correctly, Yoshida wasn't 100% happy with that decision.

In an ideal world, they'd let us choose the colour of the mounts. That would have been something =)

I wonder if well be able to color all mounts, not just the choco with 2.35? Or maybe 2.38 for others or 2.4?

Filing people's heads with notions that they were these capable badasses which the only force in nature capable of harming them dwelled in Bahamut's coil.

Mobs which previously provided a sense of wonder, fear, and adventure are now relegated to this disgusting: "Yoshi, full sized Bahamut mount plz!" And "FORMAL DEMAND FOR GLOWING LOUISOIX MOUNT" nonsense.

The easy button generation has ruined that side of an otherwise incredible game.

I do often wish Yoshi would let people scrape their knees.
But the foam lined path to almost everything (guarded by teddy bears, at that) is what people shouted for.
    And it's here to stay.

    So, sure. Why not?
And while we're at it, I want a pink Garuda Mount with glowies.

I am guessing it could be another award if they choose to implement a new tier for beast tribe dailies. Would be neat to have different colors for their mounts.

It is more that all enemies over lv50 died.
Even in 1.x a lv 50 enemy was soloable for a lv50 player. Lv60 enemy versus lv50 player was where it went interesting.
