Can Square please make it obtainable in-game via quest, or some sort of event? Or even as an achievement reward? Its much better to look at the regular Elbst. Plus it spits water. Or maybe that's just its spit in general. Don't matter, still want it.

But after Dalamud fell, all the world mobs became solo-able by any level 40 with a choco.
It was the proverbial foam corners on the table.
Filing people's heads with notions that they were these capable badasses which the only force in nature capable of harming them dwelled in Bahamut's coil.

Mobs which previously provided a sense of wonder, fear, and adventure are now relegated to this disgusting: "Yoshi, full sized Bahamut mount plz!" And "FORMAL DEMAND FOR GLOWING LOUISOIX MOUNT" nonsense.

The easy button generation has ruined that side of an otherwise incredible game.

I do often wish Yoshi would let people scrape their knees.
But the foam lined path to almost everything (guarded by teddy bears, at that) is what people shouted for.
And it's here to stay.

So, sure. Why not?
And while we're at it, I want a pink Garuda Mount with glowies.

It is more that all enemies over lv50 died.
Even in 1.x a lv 50 enemy was soloable for a lv50 player. Lv60 enemy versus lv50 player was where it went interesting.

Thing is, that is the actual Elbst enemy, not the Elbst Mount, which is notably less aquatic-looking. When I saw that Elbst enemy roaming around I was excited to have a nice, fishy-looking mount...but the mount version is far too drake-like. The Moonfaire Elbst is exactly the kind of Elbst I would have liked, but eh.

You can get an Elbst mount from the Sahagin tribe quests but its not the same colour and does not have the breath attack.
