Healing in Coil

So today I was playing my fresh 50 Sch in Coil Ilvl 92

I cleared 12 and 4 but I had a couple questions please.

1) Turn 4 went insane at the end, I don't even know how the 2nd tank survived I used all Lustrate I had on him and he literally hit 1 HP went back to full fell to around 400 over and over it was scary.

Is this normal?

2) Is there any reason to do Turn 3?

3) Any tips for a Sch healer in Turn 5 other than watching a video guide?

Something a Sch should be doing in there that is important or just tips

I'm guessing you had a WAR tank and they had Holmgang up. T4 can deal a lot of damage to a tank if they're tanking a lot of mobs (or the two Dreadnaughts at the end there).

After you get the map achievement, not really.

3) Any tips for a Sch healer in Turn 5 other than watching a video guide?

Lustrate is your best friend for bringing the tank back up after they get hit with Death Sentence (since it ignores the Infirmity debuff)

That sounds like you had an under geared tank in T4 to be honest. Tanks shouldn't be taking damage that fast there.

As far as T5 you're getting ready for your first real challenge as a healer. Everything has been cakewalk up to this fight. Luckily it's not too hard now with 20% echo but the mechanics still may be difficult. I'd highly recommend text guides to accompany videos to fully understand the fight.

Are you saying text guides are bad? Not everyone learns the same and text guides are a great supplement.

I don't like the need for them & the expectation that we had all better have watched a video before queuing up for T5 or Titan Ex.

For T5 after 2 "slams" from Twin a Dead Sentence will come so just adlo and virus if can. As for twister be isolated from everyone, place the fairy in the middle so is in range of everyone and dodge twister in a semi-circle/spiral form.

Text guides to accompany videos. I keep text guides open on my other monitor whenever I'm trying something new because the information is all there at once and easy to read for a quick glance to the right. They're also much quicker to look at for a quick reminder beforehand instead of having to skip around a video trying to find the one or two bits of information you're actually looking for.

That's personal preference. I like to try things once or twice with no guidance for fun myself, but only in learning parties that have no request to have watched videos. The OP seems to not mind learning via videos, so it's a non-issue.

Watching videos can help you to prepare of what's coming. It is not the same as experiencing it firsthand but it will help a little in panic moment since at least you "supposedly" expect that. Though the video itself is just one strategy and cannot be relied for 100% accuracy it will be the same exact thing. Also, with gears getting updated and you get higher level stuffs - the older video's strategy can be somewhat moot. First coil 1-4 are now "zerg" kill everything FAST.
