There is not enough time in the world for me to help every single person asking for it. I do what I can for those who come to me as a friend, rather than a beggar. For you, all I can or have the time for is to offer advice, so take it.I appreciate your gutso, but "I play in an FC that gets server-third clears" tells me you are about as experienced with being a pubbie at rock-bottom trying to get seen as a wall street banker is with factory work.
Here's a piece of reality: You can't 'network' with those good players who only do the content you're on as favors for prestige or mass amounts of gil.
Maybe instead of talking down to players you don't know, you could instead help them? And I mean actually help them in material ways, not offer half-winded 'advice' that doesn't require you to lift a finger.
Your 'advice' is of detrimental value to the community, as it purports lies about situations you don't experience and thus know nothing about. If you can't exert labor to help others, then you can stop exerting labor to hurt them.
Nobody asked for it, and I am certainly not taking it.
video games are bad
If an average gamer wants to tackle ScoB/Ramuh Ex, they need to work hard at it. And its.. nothing out of the ordinary, thats how progression work. It only makes sense that stuff gets more difficult after T5.
I'm a casual gamer, haven't had a static that logs in at the same time I do till very recently, and I'm finally giving T5 serious shots and with focus and everyone using their jobs to their full potential its really nothing special.
So no, content isn't "overtuned". Its a very sensible leap of difficulty IMO.
Its just that hunts happened. That is all.
Content difficulty means n
Nothing due to the redundant current ilvl. Why do anything else when u can just do hunts to gear up and tackle t9.
Like the problem about ramuh ex isn't the difficulty/ mechanics. It's just tht no one wants to do it and stick around to learn the mechanics and actually clear it.
Most players do not have access to the resources you do by virtue of the attitudes you display to those players. You yourself have attested in the same breath both how crucial a good party is and how your social group won't party with anybody you perceive as inferior without being paid to.
Literally, with gil, and because the player is paying for access they're deemed inferior by that group automatically and given no chance to succeed except by paying more gil! Most players do not have access to the resources you do by virtue of the attitudes you display to those players. You yourself have attested in the same breath both how crucial a good party is and how your social group won't party with anybody you perceive as inferior without being paid to.
(Also, I find it cute when people think that because I primarily hang in PF and do casual content these days that I've never been on the other side of raider culture, and need to 'educate' me on how to assimilate with it...trust me, it's not about making friends *inside* of the game these days, and it certainly isn't about skill demonstrations.)

For my wins my resources were party finder. Every last one of them except REX. For him, the people I met during my primal and coil progression invited me to clear REX. If you don't have anyone to do content with at this point you're either.
1. Anti-Social
Or
2. A bad player
You don't need a huge FC or 9 day a week static to clear content contrary to popular belief.
Stop putting word in my mouth, I never once said that T6-8 was impossible. I was merely speaking of the opinion was they too hard since a lot of people who worked on coil 1 I know are failing at T6. I am currently on working on T9
