Why is jumping always associated with WoW?

I'm going to laugh if they add jump but leave invisible walls on these high cliffs and ledges so we still can't drop down them. We can already drop down and climb up medium ledges now without a jump button. If we can jump of major cliffs will they have to implement falling damage? Really I haven't felt the need to jump at all since that the last pathing updates to the environment were made

I really have to frap this, but no actually there's still a ton of low to medium ledges you have to go around, in the Limsa Lominsa area it's absolutely horrible. I am telling you the last pathing update did not fix most of these things, some of the low ledges are okay now, but it wasn't enough of a fix.

Of course you shouldn't be able to jump off cliffs and not die at the least. Let's not get ridiculous. Though my guess is they would be an invisible wall at those areas, like the water walls on the beaches.
