I wonder. Does it not exist or has it not been found? We're getting our first batch of onion seeds together now and will be planting soon. We've been wondering a lot about this.

Not every FC would have 150 members with all their chocobos at rank 10.Bear in mind, we're not talking about one individual's Chocobo. You can only get Onions from FC gardens. If your FC has 150 chocobos, that's one onion every eight days for ONE of those Chocobos. If you're going to be fair about it, then, and level everyone's chocobo up evenly, it will take several years to level everyone's chocobo ONE LEVEL (let alone ten).
Members with no rank 10 chocobo wouldn't be on the onion distribution list

1. Taking a chocobo to lv.11 takes a long time, so you probably won't need an onion more than once every 8 days minimum.
2. With the right rotation and fastidious fertilizing, you can cut down on grow time. With 150+ FC members, you probably have someone on every hour of the day. Fertilizer costs pennies.
3. Buy an onion. Too expensive? So is underwear--ass is premium and so are onions.

is there a guide to all this gardening stuff? ive been interested in it for a while, but i dont know anything about it. i also dont know if its an ability you get from an NPC, like materia melding, or and the FC allows you to use said ability, if if its something anyone can do and only needs permission

If your FC owns a house all you need to get started is to buy a garden plot from the housing NPC vendors and the FC permissions to plant/harvest things.

thanks. i appreciate the helphttp://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...ing-Harvesting
