Are you really this dense or are you just being difficult?
I'm sorry if I sound short with you but it is as if you're wearing blinders.
SE isn't excluding English speakers.
They give us translations of the Q&A as it's happening.
The only thing we don't get is an official live translation.
I don't know how else to spell this out for you so that you will understand.
Now, you may feel as if that isn't enough, and that's fine. You're allowed to have an opinion.
However, you really need to stop needlessly complaining and making things up about what SE does or does not do because at this point all you're doing is spreading negativity.
I don't mind waiting for translations but theres no consistency on how long we have to wait each time. I think there needs to be schedules on the forums that once a live letter comes out they give us a translated copy to read and watch by a certain time frame. I can be flexible but there should be something announced as to the period in which to expect it. Also I would like to see more of the old subtitles way they did them before. We haven't gotten of those since 2.0 came out that I can recall but maybe I'm wrong. In either case that would be a welcome thing back to the live letters. I vote we at least bring back the videos with subtitles back. Please oh Please.

@WHS: yes even this will be enough for please me...
i will say it one more time:
- Q/A is not enough, often a lot of important information are lost, like the explanation on some choice.
- it's not at the community to find the informations given to the japanese by SE, it's at SE to give it to us! because you can't only do communication with a part of the playerbase, you must offer the same treatment to every member of the community! when a Dev post something on the japanese forum, we must'nt wait 3-4 day for get it into the other forum (if it's never bring to the other forum. french forum have get almost nothing recently and we need to wait almost 1 week after the english forum for get a message of the dev, if we get it)
- live letter, are open letter to the whole community, what the point to select question in the whole community if we get half of the answer in th Q/A translation. the sub version of the live letter must be done later or at the same time. we can't accept that only a part of the community get information, it's like if Yoshida don't want to talk to the other community. when we all know how much he work for promote the game outside japan.

Yes. You sound short. Reign it in. I don't understand this thing where people think "I am on the internet i'll speak to anyone however I like". 'Nuff said on that.
"You are allowed to have an opinion" - This. It is my opinion. I do not feel as a "valued customer" that a good service is being provided on this front. Please refer to my comment about actually loving this game. I enjoy PLAYING the game, and i would enjoy good customer satisfaction for what is a PAID product. So much for negativity.
Needlessly complaining seems to be the cornerstone of gamers attitude nowadays. Company - Here's new stuff; Gamer - we want more stuff, that's not the right stuff. So excuse me for having a damned opinion on something I actually wish was paid more attention to.
Edit - As an addition, please refer to silentfrs' post a few above. This is my point. I am not "needlessly" complaining. I am complaining in my otherwise here-to complaint free membership of this game about something I feel is being swept under the carpet, and apparently I'm not the only one that feels this way. For reference, just go read back on some of the posts on earlier live letters when it was announced that it wouldn't have a live translation, and we would have to wait like dogs waiting for scraps being thrown down at a table from the Q&A posted by the community rep (which i am thankful for, if it wasn't for that, we would truly be in the dark.)

When you pay what is ultimately a lot of money for a service, do you expect the service to be the only thing you get? Or rather do you try to keep up to date with what's going on with said product, any changes, any fluctuations. Do you like buying something you love for your home, only to realise that the instructions are in swahili?
As to the other points. I've had enough of being flamed for having an opinion on this subject. I'm done with it, my point was made and i'm not the only one of this opinion. Thank you and good day.
I get what you're trying to say, but you're blowing it out of proportion...because you do get what you pay for - you pay to play FFXIV ARR, that's where your immediately money goes to and instructions on how to play are in your appropriate language. That's why I asked, can you or can you not play FFXIV ARR right now with the money you pay? Lodestone is technically paid for by your money as well meaning if it's down you're not getting what you pay for...however people can also access it while not subbed. I can keep up to date with the product fine because like in FFXI, SE tells everyone important information. For example whenever XI had an expansion pack, no one was left in the dark about it..we all knew about Rise of Zilart, Chains of Promathia and so on.'
