Where is the Keepers of the Moon Tribe?

Late, I know, but there is a levequest in Quarrymill that references some female keepers and a "breeding male" being caught in traps around the area. More evidence that they live around there if they're having kids.

Which reminds me-- where are all the children in this game? Were they all killed in the calamity?

Yeah, the archer and lancer quests gives you some good lore on the current state of Duskwight and Keeper clans as they relate to Gridania. Keeper NPC's are easy enough to find in Grid, where as most other Miqo NPC's in the other cities are Seekers. There is still a great deal of distrust of the Duskwight in Grid as many of them choose to live outside the city and often resort to becoming bandits. There is a concentration of Keeper poachers in South Shroud. How Grid defines poaching, exactly, is not something I think is fully spelled out. The Gridanians tend to think of anyone who is not a part of their nation as violating the will of The Elementals. Another oddity in South Shroud is that, while Keepers are supposed to be Matriarchal, there is a "Coeurl King" who is actually part of a FATE down there.

There is some lore about how Grid had a major reconciliation with the groups that had chosen not to join it at the founding of the city state. There are still many among the Duskwight and Keepers who shun city life, however.

Yeah, a couple of friends and I were wondering about him so we hung out in South Shroud until that FATE popped. Sadly we weren't able to keep him up long enough to see what eyes he had but his colouring is much more Seeker than Keeper. Mind, all his concubines look very much like Keepers so I'm still not quite sure what's going on there.

Now I'm really curious as to what's going on there. Is it too much to hope they get a Mail Moogle quest even another South Shroud FATE already got one?

You know, I think Moogle Mail is a cool idea to visit some of these issues we don't get a lot of direct storytelling on. Though I wonder what we'd be delivering to The Coeurlclaws? A cease and desist order from The Twin Adders? A continuation of events started in the archer questline? I dunno, but there are certainly possibilities.

I'd probably say that the quest would be something along the lines of a Coeurlclaw poacher sending an anonymous letter to her sister/ close friend who defected and became a wood wailer or something. Or maybe a Romeo and Juliet situation where two lovers send letters to each other? I don't really care personally, as long as the quest gives us plenty of Moonkeeper lore.

Another point though. There are very few npc miqo'te males (so much so that you can probably count them on your fingers) and even fewer who are moonkitties. Apart from Coeurlclaw king up here ^ are there any other Moonkeeper males in the game at this point?

There is also that mopping male miqote in heavy armore sitting in the corner in Buscaroons bar.

Since the delivery moogle involved a FATE npc (wow I had no idea and I used to do that FATE to, lol) I wouldn't mind if they involved the courel king. What if the Couerl king displaced the moping miqote we see? Breeding males are rare, strong breeding males is rarer.

Just because the population lore wise isn't properly shown in game or any MMOs (50+ npc in each three city states couldn't be described as the only population existed), and that could apply to other non city like settlements scattered in the game
