The only thing I dislike about the dark matter system is that they're using dark matter up for something so commonplace. Dark matter is always used for something epic in Final Fantasy games.

You don't need a reason to help someone~
Thats true, but nothing is stopping it from being used for repairs and something epic in the future. Maybe this particular dark mater, Grade 1-x, will be used for repairs, and they will have a different name for the dark matter that will be used for epic crafts or gear enhancement at some point.
^ That is true, I could see them doing that. It would be the easiest route, and they like making things easy.
F*** yeah, green apples!

I'm here to play a game, not to be inconvenienced. If anything, repairs need to go away all together, or at the very least allow npc's to repair 100%.Good Morning
Dark Matter to replace ALL repair mats, seems a little generic to me. I understand the inconvenience of having different repair materials clogging up inventory space. I understand the inconvenience of having to find someone with repair mats or having to locate them yourself.
I understand that the repair system isn't convenient! It's not supposed to be!
You know, the current repair system is a pain in the ass, but it would be perfectly fine so long if repair NPCs gave you 100% repair on your gear (and it would provide a continuous gilsink for those who can't/don't want to repair their gear the "regular" way). This Dark Matter thing sounds like less of a pain in the ass, but we'll have to see more of it before I can make a call if it's actually so or not.
I'm allergic to effort.
A little offtopic from Me ^^
Like It if you think peaople are using this kind of a pool system only to get more medals on forums
(dang To bad I can't vode since I would liked this... IMHO since we have medals for likes then people shouldnt do this kind of farmlikage since they only gaining tons of medals they shouldn't have.)
oh and just noticed:

I'm surprised at your comment, did you not read my whole post? I said to have Npc repair 100% along with many other convienient factors
Some ides that I feel would have been better would be to have the repair npc move into a repair store. ( there are planty of places already in game that would work perfectly in each town) Have them sell all repair materials for marked up prices. (this would help to create a gil sink but not hurt the gatherers ability to profit off repair mats. That way if an item wasnt found in the wards you always have the option to instant buy for just a bit more) Finally have the repair npc repair to 100%. Then you could have the old repair npc still repair to 75% for a smaller amount of gil as they are apprentices.

@Feldt
I am in no way trying to "farm" likes >.>
I've said this before and I'll say it again I am not in favor of this system and I wanted to know what people thought.
What's with this mentality anyway? Why would someone farm likes lol, there is no point if i have 3,4576,475,334 likes or 56 likes, who cares... not the point of thread at all.
I think that this dark matter system is very generic and would have liked to see a little more thought put into it

You are the only one responsible for your actions. If you chose 'yes' to drastic, unspecified changes in the game, you should have been prepared to get just that.it does matter in the fact if they hadn't asked vague questions they would have gotten different answers and you know it. all this did was allow yoshi to do exactly like tanaka and do whatever he wanted without having to deal with the fallout because he can always say hey you wanted drastic.
I'm reminded of people who sign contracts without reading them, then complaining about what they agreed to.
