Bought PS3 Disc, upgraded to ps4, can't get ps3 license

So i bought the ps3 version of the game first on day one. I had never gotten any 2002 or 90k errors everything ran fine. As soon as i switched to ps4 it's a problem every other day . So i own the disc version of the game but it won't allow me to play it. Alternatively i can't find the section on the mog station to buy a ps3 license. Because buying another disk just to play a game i already own because the damned thing doesnt work is simply not an option.t

So how do i get a ps3 license?

The upgrade from ps3 to ps4 is permanent, no going backwards
If you're running wirelessly, try connecting the ps4 to your router with a cable instead as it sounds like your problems are related to wireless.
You could try forcing your wireless network down to 802.11g mode as well since it worked on your ps3. Higher modes supported on ps4 may not work well with your router.

You can make a new ps3 psn and buy a new FFxiv with new codes and account so you can play it on ps3 .

Not sure how it works if you buy another PS3 copy. All I meant is that you can't go back to your original PS3 copy since that was upgraded.
Aside from that, did you try any of the suggestions to help you play on your PS4?

Yes - I did that myself and I can play on both PS3 as well as PS4 (and also PC) with the same PSN and SE Service accounts. You'll also receive another 30 days of free sub.

That's incorrect advice (see my reply above). While you can technically do so it's much better to use the same accounts.

Then i'll head to gamestop and pick up another copy. Thank you. It's just really frustrating because there were some months on ps4 where everything ran seamless and after the latest patches....i just can't do a thing.

If it started going bad with the patches, chances are PS3 will also have the same problem...
You might want to ask your ISP for help too... If you only have consoles and no computer, it can be difficult to determine what's wrong.

If it started going bad with the patches, chances are PS3 will also have the same problem...
You might want to ask your ISP for help too... If you only have consoles and no computer, it can be difficult to determine what's wrong.

That's exactly the issue as soon as i switched to ps4 i had problems. the problems went away for about a month or so, then i was unable to play for 2-3 months. then it concluded again and was running fine for about 2 weeks. Then once 2.3 released it's back to not working. i had none of these problems on my ps3 hence me wanting to go back.
