Is ninja confirmed the only new job?

I'm really hoping for a two hand sword wielding class, like a dark knight or samurai. Either would be cool, I just really like two handed swords :P

At E3 or something, they confirmed the ninja job, right? I Haven't heard ANY news about any new classes, will Ninja/Rogue be the only new additions?

For 2.4, yes. October fest might reveal what we get in 3.0.

Rogue is a new class with Ninja as a new job for it. That's gonna be it for patch 2.4 and likely until we get to the expansion. I don't think it's been confirmed, but I think we can expect 2 or so new classes for the expansion and at least another 2 jobs, possibly more though I suppose.

So unfortunate. I don't have any interest in playing a ninja, and even if I did the leveling process for DPS classes is so ridiculously broken that I'd rather kill myself then do it again.

The only problem with a slashing DPS is the train of WAR TANK OR GTFO certain things will develop. Will be interesting to see how they handle that.

1) run with better people
1a) Unless you're farming (see T5), there's no reason for DPS racing..unless you need that 5th DPS to clear.
2) DF doesn't allow you to choose what tank you play with
