4 - Melee Classes. Ridiculous. Why can a BRD parse a brutal amount of damage pressing 4 buttons (straight shot, venomous bite, windbite and heavy shot) with the occasional buffs and bloodletters and Melees have to deal with overly complicated rotations with FLANK AND REAR REQUIREMENTS. Now this is my MAIN complain. I don't mind the hard rotations, but what's this flank/rear business? Especially in a game where you can only reliably hit flanks and rears IF the enemy is standstill, there's no absolute way you can coordinate a flank/rear in a moving target, in fact, 90% of your attacks don't even land on moving targets forcing you to recast them (which puts melee classes even at a more disadvantage), let alone LANDING A FLANK/REAR hit on enemies that are moving. And then you have all the melee dangers which all the poor DRGs and MNKs have to deal with, no wonder they spend more time lying on the floor than fighting. When I see someone playing DRG or MNK, I feel bad for that person.

The myriad of whiners on these forums about pretty much every aspect of the game on a PS4 begs to differ, as does the pure hatred that a lot of PS4 users have directed at the "hacking" PC playing scum lately.

Not really no. The only thing limiting them is their decision decisions. They've worked around so many supposed limitations during XI's time and the only thing they can't do is add tons of flowing capes, which affects gameplay not 1 bit.

The only thing they can't do because of "console limitations" aren't things that will hinder the game from running. It will stay "competitive" because other MMO developers aren't even raising the bar, they're too busy keeping it so low you'll trip over it.

It's usually the PC players belitting the console players, so it's pretty easy to see why that became a problem.
