I dont feel like DKP are really needed in the game at this point.
Static groups are small, and loots come often enough.

New raid member not allowed a chance to loot. That's bad idea : "Hi we need you but you are new to the group so you help us but get nothing. And If old members have a lot of point you will get nothing for a long time."

But whatever works for your FC.
