Our group keeps it simple:
Main Spec / Secondary Spec
If healer stuff drops, main spec healers roll on it. If both main spec healers have it, then secondary spec healers roll on it. If there are no secondary healers or they already have it, then it's free lot.

true to this too. nice and simple. i just like the loot being evenly spread out among friends and members.

This is what we do as well,

When stuff drops, people that can 'need' may need.
When said people already have it/ don't want it others are free to greed.

The only added thing to this is to please not greed on things you cannot equip (due to not having said class at lvl 50).

I really don't see the point of this. I mean in my static the other healer and I know we have different stat priorities, so since she's a whm she gets first dibs at armor, and as sch i get dibs on accessories. Only thing I can see this working for is sands/oils/tomestones, and there's plenty of chances to get these without raiding.
