Suggestion - Atma and desynthesis

sorry airget gotta disagree with re-posting that. Atma drops have been the BIGGEST controversy with very few comments from devs, without so much as a "No we are not increasing atma drop rate THIS patch" The vast community would like a response and instead get something like this. The other option is that they have been slowly increasing drop rates and dont want to tell people hey we really messed up so this is us fixing it. I have seen a lot more people cheering about how they are getting atma's more and more and no i don't believe they "just" won at rng. If they did, be nice if they just came out and said so.

My first 7 atmas I wasn't even trying to get them. I'd pass through the zone doing other things and would get them on my first 1-3 FATEs. Atmas 8, 9 and 10 took a bit of farming but nothing serious. Atma 11 took me 4 days of farming FATEs for 2-3 hours per day. Atma 12 I got it in my first 3 FATEs.

Regardless, I don't think that the vast community is complaining that much about atmas.

This may be the case in your circle on Phoenix, but I assure you it's a very different tune for mine. We're all incredibly frustrated by the grind that is ATMA and the books. We just don't regularly gripe about it on the forums. And I'm fairly sure that's the case for a number of others as well.

Now, that said, I can't entirely fault Square for wanting to make the relics something you work for. However, I think an average reported time of 60-70 real time hours working on this, on top of everything else I've got to do in game (beast tribes, dungeons, leveling alt classes, gathering, etc.), is a bit ridiculous and generally not worth the effort in it's current state.

That's why I made my earlier suggestion. This doesn't have to be fancy, but they need to throw us some kind of bone!
