You are full 110 with undercapped accuracy and cheated Novus stats and still you used X-potion to get to 415. Go repeat that with Rosen and without x-potion.

With Allagan weapon and potions? surely. Or with Elfin bow and crit/det jewelry (who needs accuracy anyway). With ilvl90 tailored for coil - i really doubt it.
2.1 was a different story for bards from 2.0 as Elfin bow is just another league to Zenith weapon.

Undercapped accuracy? Nope, a BRD only needs 491 accuracy for T9, the little amount of attacks you do while tanking blue golems (if you do) and while stacking for Lunar Dynamo in Phase 4 is insignificant in demanding 515 accuracy. My FC mates who are both in teams that claimed our server first and second T9 clears doesn't gun for 515 accuracy either.

In 2.1 I am using Elfin Bow while MEETING T5 accuracy. (if course I won't be i90, it would be i87-i89 as I have to use CT pieces such as the shoes for accuracy). And for the record, my RNG was so bad, I only have the Allagan bow 4 days before 2.2, so don't bullshit me. I didn't bother keeping two sets of gears and tbh, and I only started using ACT in 2.3. My DPS stats are being told by friends who uses them during carries, such as parsing 315 with Elfin Bow with 47X acc. In that run the DRG died for a significant amount of time and I am jailed at least once.

Nope, your inability to perform at the same level doesn't mean others can't. Other BRDs have already shown you right here that they could. How about upping your own game? Or maybe ask around some of the top BRDs in your server and they could give you a tip or two while watching you parse on a dummy and tell you how to cross the 400 benchmark.

And it is a fact that top FCs of each servers consider that 300DPS is a benchmark for an i90 DPS regardless of gear configuration.


EDIT: Oh BTW, I do not disagree that people parses with different setting. That IS why I stated my parsing methodology. What's with you crying that I used X-DEX? A large amount of people parse with this configuration: 1 use of pot, no party buff. Food is subjective and can be synchronized for a fair comparison.

You could go ahead and parse under the same conditions that I do. Rosenbogen or Artemis Bow Novus, 400+ is still achievable (and maybe cut the "Novus is cheating crap"), and have been achieved before. And for your extra information, I only completed Novus 1.5-2 weeks ago, and for the rest of the time before that which I already cleared T9, I am using Rosenbogen.

EDIT 2: So to satisfy the naysayer, I stripdown my gear to i90 with Elfin Bow. Watch my ACC, it is T5 grade, and oh, under 500 critical hit. Meh that's not what those high crit stats you spoke about ignoring accuracy (which can be technically pushed to high 500 range).

And of course, don't come with me "you used potion!", why aren't you using then? In actual fight you have the time to use 1-3 potions anyways, and with party buff and DRG debuff, these numbers aren't even unrealistic.

Averaged 28%, I'd say it is within the normal 25% plus minus range. Good RNG could push you towards 35% plus minus range, but that happens once in a blue moon

And since someone said Novus is cheating stats, I have decided to run a parse using Rosenbogen after all these edits:



While undoubtedly Novus (44 crit 31 det) does have an advantage by stat weightage over the Rosenbogen, it will not make a heaven and earth difference. Ultimately even under a "dummy-fight" like T8, you have to also look at BL procs and crit %. Over here, I have lesser BL procs compared to the record last week with Novus, I have a higher overall crit % and thus the results is less than 1 point of DPS away from each other. But saying 400+ is not possible in dummy or T8 with i110 (HA weapon or not), I will wholeheartedly disagree. 400+ is certainly crossable, and have been achieved by many BRDs. It is NOT a myth nor garbage talk.
