Second reason is that with your poorly excuse of open world content people can easly crowed to the best one that is up in less than a minute. Thus making it a spam fest of aoes instead of actually having to try to kill something.

No, it was removed, so it isn't going to be added back in.

EG: Back in 1.x, we had many quests that requires you to travel from zone A to zone B to zone C, do a combat, then back to zone B then zone A to complete the quest.

So, do you REALLY want to waste 1-1/2 to 2 hrs of senseless travelling on your chocobo, just to do a 5 minute quest combat? No.

and tell us why you think limiting teleportation is such a terrible thing when it literally takes 30mins15mins to choco from gridania to uldah.

This option is still available for you to do, w/o the need to limit any form of transportation. Therefore, just because you like to play this game via the slow travelling method that is available, why is there a need to force it upon the rest of the player base?

Those quests were optional. The main story was pretty good and had better CS and quest system then this crap. You didn't have to spam quest after quest after quest, ya know, quest training. Because the story quests were so far apart it felt like they had more meaning than just feeling like they were trash quests. So yeah, I do wanna waist 1-2 hours of senseless traveling to make the journey of defeating something grand even more worth while. Instead of it being just another mob.

I mean, even the job quest boss battles were tough in 1.x. These job quests are a joke compared.... You know I complained how easy it was to gain your artifact in 1.x, well it's even easier now and now I wish it was the same as 1.x.

Point is, quests felt like they had more meaning then just simply spamming them because you couldn't, because you couldn't they were able to make more unique quests. Especially one that you all dear close to your heart the detective one(vandabrand..?), forgot his name.

I do not miss waiting for boats in Everquest or any other MMO in the pre-wow era off mmo's. I also dont miss traveling across the world in 40 mins on foot or mount.

Even though I would prefer a lengthy travel time and a vast world to suit it, I think they took the right approach for this day and age. From what I've noticed more and more people want convenience, which is a good and bad thing. Personally I have my HP set in Limsa and my free destination is Gridania, which puts me at a reasonable distance to Coerthas/Mor Dhona and lets me access East Shroud much easier to farm my daily treasure maps, as well as gives me that opportunity to not use the teleport feature. Aside from that I will typically mount up and ride where I need to go but will teleport when I'm feeling either tired or lazy, in a hunting group or if my next destination is literally on the other side of the world.
