    my thoughts

1 allow one to trade items that need repairs
2 show rank range of items of said craft can repair at.
repairing from an inventory seems pretty easy to do. Least I had no issues but I didn't have any issues trying to repair stuff for others if I was able through a bazaar Once you figure it out it is pretty easy to do.

There are some cases where I'd do this just to get rid of the thing, Twelve know I've got items that are sitting around for no reason due to this. However, the day I hand over my Dodore Doublet to be "fixed" is the day they pry it off my little lalafell corpse.

The formula is a little less well-known than it should be. At this time, the rank required to repair an item is based on one of two factors:

    (A) The optimal rank of the item
    (B) The rank of the synthesis that makes the item.

Subtract 10 Ranks from whichever of these two numbers is lower and you will arrive at your requiement.

With that said? Yes - the display would be a hundred times more convenient. It's hard enough trying to pass around the information that (at this present moment) a recipe rank can be easily deduced by when the synth returns ~500 physical exp - nevermind how to apply that information to repair needs.

All in all, viable options, methinks, though I doubt they'll allow for trading damaged stuff anytime soon. Maybe, though, as long as you can't sell it.
