Chocobo favourite feed

I only got access to food with bonuses today so about 3-4 feedings in I haven't gotten a bonus yet. I just thought I should point out in case you didn't know (because I initially didn't) according to the in-game help text it's only possible for your chocobo to get a bonus when you yourself feed him.

Just keep it in mind so your FC doesn't waste valuable food dumping them onto others' chocobos - they should be using Krakka roots to help out others without using the stock of more valuable food.

Thanks for the tip but at the moment my fc members are only getting around 2 buff foods each (so many healer chocobos) and I'd like to be able to dish out enough for the bonus.

So it could be anywhere from the 5-10 range. I'm hoping its not related to how many krakka roots have been fed to the chocobo.

That's seems a bit weird - are you sure that'sreally the case? How exactly is the text formulated (can't check myself as I'm not home)? Maybe it says "you" in the text but it doesn't really imply that it must be only you. Well - Let's see if someone can confirm this. I'll test it myself once we know how many times you need to feed the bonus food before it becomes favourite one - so if it's lets say 5 I can feed it four times myself and then try to feed it via other FC memeber once or twice (not that much of waste in the end for the sake of "research") to see if it will become favourite food or not.

Well - if that's really how it works I'd rather them NOT to feed my choco at all as it might (unless it's really clever to avoid that) disrupt my favourite food loop - although maybe that's exactly why it would not affect my choco (in any - meaning both possitive as well as negative) way in regards of fav food.
