The fact that you have to reiterate this would suggest that the dev team should take the issue more seriously. What is the point of introducing new gear if it looks so terrible that you never want to use it...?Greetings,
This is similar to what we said in the past, but I would like to reiterate it for those who may have missed it.
Fundamentally, we are prioritizing the introduction of equipment in a large variety of designs, regardless of whether or not they may have clipping issues or overlap with certain equipment or characters. Due to this, we will not be making any adjustments to the dresses. However, in extreme cases there may be instances where we will make changes.
Btw, I am rocking the Crescent Moon Nightgown as my tank body, and nothing compares to how dapper it makes me look.
^ This.
I don't use my spring dress and some other gear AT ALL because it clips so badly. I avoid a lot of gear that clips with my character herself which limits my in game options for vanity.
I'm sorry guys, but the rule of quality over quantity needs to be applied here. I don't care how many different designs you come up with if 90% of them also come with a bunch of goofy clipping issues.Greetings,

No.
There, fixed it.
Really, this is the big 'bug' you want fixed? A minor touch of clipping in extreme poses? Would you like a long list of games with clipping issues? Why not go the whole hog and list every MMO in existence ever. Because that's the number of games with clipping issues! They don't change the way the game plays, they don't 'ruin' the immersion, since they're very minor even in the worst cases, and who really cares enough to quit over that? If you do, then you probably weren't all that invested in the game to begin with.
Run Lemuria!! There's still time before they catch wind of this post! There, fixed it.

While true, let's be honest:
People from 1.x when asked about ARR, instead of something like...making things better, like itemization - instead wanted them to release content and gear faster because they were tired of the "slow updates" during the push from 1.0 - 1.23. So in a way, players did ask for this.
That whole be careful what you wish for and such.
lol, first world problems.
Wierd Al says it best.
Greetings,
When it comes to introducing new hairstyles and gear, we’ve been placing a lot of focus on creating diversity and our highest priority is to continue to introduce new varieties going forward.
We understand the concerns about gear and hairstyle clipping; however, if we were to stick to designs that ensure that there is no clipping then it would limit the types of equipment we were able to create. Due to this the development team has decided to continue putting the designs ahead of the concerns about clipping.Take a look at Camate's original Post, then Grekumah's Post.Greetings,

Camate's Post comes off Cold, posting pretty much exactly what the Dev's told him, no more, no less.
While Grekumah pretty much does the same thing, but adds his own "flair" of compassion, then talks about this own Nightgown, Politely Mocking us that it looks fine on him, or that he doesn't care that it clips. In the end its just a Politically Correct way of saying, "The Dev's are not ever planning to fix this, nor will they try to make time to fix this."
I think I prefer Camate's Cold Hard Truth Answer which spares no feelings or tries to make us feel better about something that isn't going to happen, then to Grekumah's Politically Correct/Small Shred of hope Answer.

I'm not saying the clipping issues really bother me that much, but I have played many different MMOs (all P2P; never tried F2P), and I have never seen clipping issues as horrendous as the ones in this game. For me, this isn't even a clipping issue. This is more so a concern regarding development lethargy. I just hope that their lack of attention in this area does not pervade other areas as well (e.g. hunts).
