For a 5th Fire I while using Thunder II for the rotation, while a SCH in the party (I.e. most party's).
Makes the rotation smoother and imo more effective.

My rotation feels smoother with Thunder I though.
You can use a 5th fire anyway, you just have to use Thunder 1, which gives you a DPS increase on a quick mana tick, and means you just weave in a Blizzard 1 on a slow tick. On add phases, you can put two thunder 1's on different targets, because its always nice to get constant Thundercloud procs.
Imo, Thunder 1 + Blizzard 1 with more intelligence is more effective if you are running spellspeed. For Crit and Det, then I can see why people would want to put in Piety. However, there are plenty of better ways of getting the piety needed rather than sacrificing your main stat. For instance on an i90 Jewellery piece.

I personally put everything into INT. Some put into piety as well as int and my only guess is it allows an extra skill in their rotation, but as far as the skill rotations you will see in most guides full INT will support that just fine.

I could use Thunder I and Bliz I, but I find my current method to be better damage.
i90 Accessories are no where near as good as they should have been and if you have full i110, I don't think it's worth changing.
They are BIS for the ring slots, and the others are very close to their best i110 counterparts damage wise; with the added benefit of accuracy.
I've used T2 myself and compared it to T1 and B1, and my dps always comes out higher on the latter rotation, but thats probably due to my high spellspeed build.
We'll have to agree to disagree then.

I don't think using i90 accessories is worth using over i110 or even i100 accessories. It's 5 int difference between the HQ crafted and i110 accessories. Surely you can "sacrifice" one or two attribute points towards piety for that.Imo, Thunder 1 + Blizzard 1 with more intelligence is more effective if you are running spellspeed. Feel free to check the various stat weights kicking around. Because BLM scales very well off all three, and the two i110 rings for BLM are accuracy pieces, the rings are very viable at end game.
Personally, the best piece to trade off for Piety would be on the belt imo, but again, I don't need the piety, I can get it from Spellspeed food if I need it.
