Thats all fine and dandy, But once your using a Specialization that they keep trying to classify as not being part of the Class but its own unique Specialization, then you no longer need to restrict that JOB to that Class. If the job is supposed to be that Special it should be able to stand on its own no matter what Class is attached to it. The class would just determine minor perimeters about how the Job is performed. IE The Difference between being a Heal Spam Tank and a Damage Dealing Tank to maintain hate.
It ends up working the same way that Race did in XI at that point. a Tarutaru Paladin is going to spam heals and shield skills to maintain hate because his health is much lower then other races and he has to maintain it at a higher percentage, while a Galka is going to spam shield and physical abilities. Only healing when his health drops suddenly.
But in XIV it would be say a Thaumaturge/Paladin taking the place of the Tarutaru, and a Gladiator/Paladin taking the place of the Galka.
That kind of diversity makes CHARACTERS unique which is more important then CLASSES being unique. At least to me.
