Especially since, no matter how long you wait, you will always get yelled at and cussed out by somebody who didn't feel you waited long enough. Being "polite" is not working out... this content is not worth the hate.I just don't understand people who feel they have a right to get a full reward from a hunt mark they didn't find. In general, I think the person / group who found the target should make the pull and get the full reward, at least. I support people pulling a mark as soon as they see it and their group gets there, then shouting and letting others know so they can get there if they're close enough.
P.S. This is not my main...
you want my piece of mind? exept rank S monster all the other one must be fate, probleme solved, no more radar cheat, since they will appear. no more wait for people to come, they appear on the map, move your ass dude!
all of this was because they did listen to a part of the community asking back NM, that was an huge mistake!!! too much trouble have come from it! solution:
- daily and weekly from special leves and faction leves
- Special FATE for hunt, level 50 and make all boss FATE award allied mark
- only leave the RANK S like this, but make the hunter npc in the area shout that it did spawn, reduce the gain and reduce the respawn timer.
competition like this in mmorpg is not needed, it don't give teeth to the world, it make it look bad!
Oh geeze, it's pretty obvious that there are some people in this thread that aren't very experienced with hunting. The first two pages complaining about provoke, a mechanic that doesn't even work on hunts, is a dead give away.
I think it's pretty rude to pull an A or S without waiting at least a few minutes. Obviously you can't wait for everybody but you can give people the courtesy of having a few minutes to show up. Pulling the second you see it is just plain greed.
Why can't SE just remove the tether? Monster can go anywhere (not towns) once they spawn. There would be no reset problems. It's not like people can't kill them...
Hunts are becoming a real cancer for this game.
All Square has to do is make the hunt invulnerable for a few minutes after the pull. Give it the vulnerability down buff, where you deal next to no damage till it falls off.
A rank is balanced around 8 people. Only wait if you are solo.
Would still cause problems if people start kiting it across the map.. it will despawn/blink in and out a lot more than they do now due to render priority and people will still complain. This already happens when they change targets or someone opposite of where the hunt is pulls hate. They would have to first fix the render priority.
People could also MPK some players who are just questing or doing something else. Don't think you want to open that can of worms.
A really big bad monster that goes around killing people? As a gatherer, it would be frustrating sure (esp if I'm on an unspoiled node), but I'd learn to get out of the way and I think it would be kinda cool to see it (and the zerg) coming from a distance.
I thought they had prioritized hunt mark rendering, but when I fought a Rank S the other day it sure didn't seem like it... I'll agree on that.
