more issues like what? mobs dying in seconds?![]()
not giving more seals ,wont stop soloers to be there near the hunt mob and try to get some seals....even if its only 2
if soloers get seals faster > they will stop doing hunts faster > less ppl doing hunts in the long run
And you need to realize that a lot of people who are complaining are those who just happen to be in the area when a hunt mob spawns, go to attack it and get nothing for it.
This isn't about "it will cause more people to do hunts" its about people who ALREADY THERE getting nothing because they didn't "get into a hunt party ahead of time".
It's like saying people aren't allowed to walk by a fast food restaurant and go in to have lunch unless they had made reservations in advance. (Read: No one makes reservations at McDonalds & Burger King)

To your first point: FPS lag, perhaps server crashes(unless that's been completely fixed due to Odin), longer area loading times, etc. There's a reason why PS3 players are complaining about being unable to hunt.
To your second point: Yes, but some people will go until all their battle classes are i110 and/or they have all the vanity. The huge zergs may last until the next patch where i110 is no longer the top teir and beyond.
And you do realized that more than just "the solo people in the area" will join? People will start activly doing hunts solo if solo players get credit.
There's really no way to argue the fact that more people will join in the hunt if it's easier to get the rewards. I'm sorry that that upsets you. That is why I proposed a new way to get hunts.

screw the people saying join a party or ls
I shouted for 2 NM's yesterday that I found randomly on my own sitting there unclaimed, could not get a group and there was noone ungrouped in the zone that wanted to kill it. These were both stolen by the same ls who showed up with less than a group and still would not invite me.
Been looking for a functioning hunt LS on my server for 8+ hours a day since hunts were introduced, 0 invites. I have tons of friends in good hunt ls'es but none are accepting new members.
So how exactly are we supposed to participate again?
God forbid paying customers do content they PAY for!
What they should really just do is put the stupid sands into syrcus tower and massively increase the daily mark rewards but their very lackluster response to hunts in the live letter doesn't seem like they will be doing that in a high priority.

I'm not saying that people shouldn't get to take part in certain content. I'm simply saying that it could cause issues. If there wasn't a chance that it'd cause issues then I wouldn't have even bothered to post here. Power to the casuals and whatnot. SE does it's best to please the casuals.
Problem is, hunts at the moment are not for casuals at all.
A casual person logs in, does some dailies, maybe a roulette and logs out.
A casual player doesn't have time to join a huge linkshell and sit there for hours scouting for mobs and hoping their party gets there before the rest of the server zergfest.
While the complaints from this thread ARE from the casuals who are doing their daily things, run upon a mob, want to hit it a few times to get some seals but are unable to because they didn't have the time to join a premade party ahead of time.
I think some people think casual player = one who cannot do difficult content like coil, and thats completely untrue.
I consider myself a casual (only play about 3 hours a night) and I raid with my coil group 2 days a week for about an hour and a half a day.
I feel like that the coil content is a lot more "casual friendly" to me than this hunt system is.

Yes, I gathered that from the thread already.
SE does it's best to please the casuals but it's best isn't always good enough.
I'm not a casual at all, in any shape or form. Never have been, never will be, but I'm not against them. There's no way to stop SE from catering to them so it's better just to accept the fact and move on.
