However, the mob will run at 500% run speed, be able to zone and have 99.99% dodge chance.
I don't know, all of the posts here sound so interesting to someone who is just now reaching the 40s and pushing to 50 and end game. As a leveling player perspective, I hope we see some more lower level dungeons at some point, especially in the 30-49 area.
I don't think that should be a priority though and they should focus on end game content and new classes rather than low level stuff, but changing up the low level experience with a few more dungeons and possibly low level hunts in a leve quest style, isn't a bad idea either with any left over free time.
While I agree with you, reaching the endgame in this game only takes a month or so. More endgame content than existed in 2.0 was definitely needed.I don't know, all of the posts here sound so interesting to someone who is just now reaching the 40s and pushing to 50 and end game. That said, each patch has included new things for the non-endgame too: chocobo feeding, siteseeing, glamours (to a lesser extent since they still require one class at 50), desynthing, personal rooms (though I guess that does require level 47 for AV), ventures, and some lower level dungeons (Sunken Temple of Qarn, Cutter's Cry, and maybe one other were added in 2.1 or 2.2 I think - dunno, wasn't around then). 2.4 will include weddings (which shouldn't require a 50?) and a new class (which might be story-locked, or might not be).
I hope the expansion also includes a bunch new things for new players. We do know that it'll include new jobs at least, and that'll be new content for newer players definitely.

Wait but that's not true for all of the FF's I don't think. In 10 Omega was a person who died with extreme hatred for yevon over 700 yrs ago. So they do change it up every now and again.1. Omega, hopefully he doesn't - Lore wise, it was always designed to seek out and destroy Shinryu, so unless we're getting Shinryu it would make zero sense to introduce Omega into XIV beyond fanservice, since Bahamut is a peanut in comparison to Shinryu, so while Bahamut is this "big bad bad boy" and Omega can stand up against him/kill him, it breaks tradition honestly. Even in XI Shinryu makes an appearance in the same dimension where we never take out Omega, which too was designed to seek out a destroy a certain dragon.

Cool, I didn't realize Cutter's Cry and Sunken Temple had been added later after release. Actually, I just checked, and I'm totally wrongThey were in 2.0. No new low level dungeons have been added yet, I just always thought they were in 2.1. So, yeah, I agree with you that new low level dungeons would be nice.
They did, however, add DR in 2.1, which makes low level dungeons much easier to run.
Also, Beast Tribe quests were added with patches 2.1 and 2.2, and those are pre-50 content (starting at about 42). Treasure Maps (added in 2.1) also start at 40. 2.1 also gave us FC housing, which is content for all levels if you're into that sort of thing. The Aesthician was added in 2.1 too.

I think new low level dungeons will come with new races, if they had new starting areas. Right now if they add new areas without another race, then it would be expected to send you there at that point in the story line, which is after you are already 50, so adding in lower level dungeons to those new areas wouldn't jive much with the flow of the content.Actually, I just checked, and I'm totally wrongThey were in 2.0. Well, there's a big difference between one class at 50 and all classes at 50. I have two classes at 50 and I'm still running plenty of low level dungeons to get my other classes up. The Armory System really encourages this, as well as the cross-class skills. And, even with every class at 50, the DR bonus for Low Level Roulette is pretty sweet at 50 (it gives endgame currency).I think new low level dungeons will come with new races, if they had new starting areas. So, new low level dungeons would be nice for nearly everyone. More high-level dungeons were definitely needed first though, since they benefit long-term subscribers the most and keep the subscriptions active.
